Sony is apparently running out of ideas and is going to reboot Spider-Man. Everyone involved with the current Spider-Man franchise is no longer explicitly attached to the movies. If they’ll keep anyone at all I hope it’s J.K. Simmons and his scene-stealing take on J. Jonah Jameson.

I really hope they simply skip the “Our story begins…” introduction movie and just assume that we are already familiar enough with the character to jump into the “let’s get awesome” second movie. As far as villains, let’s see Rhino and Lizard.
